No. We are a brick and mortar salon in burbank, and do not offer mobile grooming at this time.

Mud baths are similar to deep conditioners or face/hair masks for humans. They are designed to nourish the skin and coat while providing a spa-like experience for your pet. We offer several different types of mud, from de-shedding mud to get out all the loose undercoat and cut down on shedding, to soothing mud to calm and moisturize irritated skin, to mobility mud to soothe aches and wake up stiff joints. We’ve got a mud bath for every unique fur baby, so don’t hesitate to ask your groomer for recommendations!

Baths or full grooms are by appointment only, but if you need a last-minute appointment, call us - sometimes we have cancellations or can take same-day appointments! At Pet Haven, it’s our mission to create a safe and comforting environment for your pet. Through our unique approach, we are able to groom the vast majority of dogs and cats that come to our salon - even those who have been turned away from other shops. We are committed to giving every fur baby a chance. If your pet is too nervous, aggressive, or frail when we initiate the grooming process, to the point that they are a danger to themselves or the groomer, there is the possibility we will need to send them home - we cannot guarantee completion of the groom. However, this does not happen often in our compassionate environment, and we will never turn away your pet without meeting them and giving them our best, gentle, and patient efforts.

For nervous or old fur babies, we recommend an early morning appointment on a weekday, when it is the absolute must calm and quiet in the shop. This way, we ensure your pet will have the very best chance at having the incredible spa day they deserve!

Sometimes, if a dog or cat is nippy, we may be able to complete the groom with the addition of a handling fee. The handling fee is to cover the physical risk of injury the groomer takes on while grooming your pet. To see more about our fees, visit our services & pricing page.

We are happy to offer flea baths as an add-on to any bath and brush out or full grooming package. The flea bath will kill any fleas living on your pet. Note: the flea bath will not prevent your pet from acquiring fleas again in the future.

At Pet Haven, we are happy to offer flea baths as add-on services to any groom. The shampoo used during the flea bath will kill any living fleas on your dog or cat at the time of the bath. However, it does not prevent fleas from jumping on in the future - they are at risk of picking up more fleas as soon as they leave our shop. We recommend getting your pet on some sort of flea and tick preventative to repel and prevent flea infestations long-term - we like the Wondercide brand, who offer natural, essential-oil based flea collars, sprays, and topical treatments to keep those pesty bugs off your fur baby.
